Bio:

 

I currently work as an Information Technology Specialist at a local liberal arts K-12 school in Los Angeles, CA. My duties include providing technological support for all staff, parents, and students. I have also helped in many other departments; Tasks have ranged from data management to website development. In the IT field, I have learned many valuable technical and communication skills, as well as how to thrive in a team setting.  While I am thankful for the skills and relationships I have built here, I am ready for new challenges.

 

I recently graduated with a B.A. in Computer Science and a minor in Computational Science. I am looking to expand my knowledge in jobs related to software development, programming, or web development. I would love to learn more about java programming, data structures, or simply the development of real-time software projects. I look forward to joining a positive and friendly company where I can become an integral piece in a successful community.

 

Although I am fairly new to the Computer Science workforce, I am highly motivated to gain more experience. If anything, it excites me that I have much to learn and can only grow in my career. I am a quick learner and I do well independently researching solutions. Both are skills I gained from performing a 2-month summer research school program. I genuinely care about the work I am given and always do my best to ensure quality results. With all that being said, I am optimistic about my opportunities to advance my career in the Computer Science field.
